Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst believes Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo is slowly adapting to the “much higher” intensity in Scotland.
After scoring five minutes into his Rangers debut last month, the young Ivorian has been in and out of the side.
The 19-year-old came off the bench and hit the post in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Dundee United.

But he didn’t feature in either of the games against Borussia Dortmund in the shock Europa League win.
His last start after getting hooked at half-time in the 3-0 Old Firm defeat to Celtic earlier this month came 10 days later after that chastening evening, against lower league side Annan Athletic in the Scottish Cup.
Van Bronckhorst was asked how he felt Amad had settled in to life with the Scottish champions and whether he could make a big impact at the club between now and the end of the season.

Speaking in his press conference, van Bronckhorst said: “He had a good start. You also know the change in environment for him is an aspect that he feels.
“Also the level of playing now. He played a couple of games with United but only in the reserves so the intensity that he will be feeling in Scotland is much higher.
“But you can see his quality and in the game last weekend against Dundee United when he came on, he had some good chances to score a goal.
“But he has to develop as you expect for a young player who hasn’t played much across the last months.”

The United youngster will be hoping to get another chance to impress van Bronckhorst in today’s Scottish Premiership clash against Motherwell.
