Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has opened up about his time at Old Trafford so far and his honest thoughts as he is yet to feature for the Red Devils.
Joining from Fenerbahce in the summer for £4.3 million, Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was brought into the club following the goalkeeping exodus at the club.
David De Gea and Dean Henderson left the club and Erik ten Hag decided that Andre Onana was to be his number one with the Turkish goalkeeper Bayindir his number two.
However, since his move from the Turkish giants in the summer, the 25-year-old has yet to feature a minute for the Red Devils.

Bayindir choosing to be positive
Despite the lack of game time for the 25-year-old, Bayindir is choosing to be positive about his situation at Old Trafford.
“We have good team-mates and everyone is positive every day. That’s the most important thing for us,” Bayindir said, speaking to the United website.
“All the goalkeepers, their character is very nice. We are always positive. Of course, we are fighting [to be] on the pitch, because everyone wants to play with the team in the stadium.
“But we have a good energy. It doesn’t matter who is playing, because we will, of course, support them every time.”
With Onana finally going to join up with the Cameroon squad for the African Cup Of Nations, the goalkeeper will finally have a chance to impress the fans who have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the Turkish international.
Bayindir’s chance
It’s fair to say Onana has had a tough season for the Red Devils, with vital mistakes against Galatasaray and Bayern Munich, costing the Red Devils a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Bayindir will be starting the FA Cup game against Newport County and will have a chance to prove that he can be the more reliable option.
The goalkeeper has reportedly been impressing in training for the Red Devils so he deserves this opportunity to show his quality.
