Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has shared his verdict on the upcoming Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham.
The road to Bilbao will begin for thousands over the coming days, with Manchester United and Tottenham set to face off in an all-English final at the San Mames in Spain.
Manchester United overcame Athletic Club, the owners of San Mames, in the semi-finals to secure a place in the final. Tottenham eliminated Bødo/Glimt in the other semi-final.
Although both teams have struggled for form in the Premier League this season, the Europa League final gives them both an opportunity to secure Champions League qualification.
That will be the biggest prize to come from this year’s Europa League because United will need the money to strengthen Ruben Amorim’s squad in the summer.

Alphonso Davies predicts Europa League final
The modern game throws something new up every now and again.
Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies is known to stream his gaming online with YouTube sensation IShowSpeed, who asks the Canadian star a range of football related questions.
One of those questions saw IShowSpeed ask Davies who he thinks is going to win the Europa League final this season.
In response, Davies said: “I think Man U is gonna win.”
The pair were playing games together on a live YouTube stream on Monday night when Davies revealed he thinks United will win the Europa League.
Davies was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford before committing his future to Bayern Munich, which doesn’t come as a surprise because he is one of the best defenders in the world.
It’s a tough final to predict because Tottenham have already beaten United three times in two different competitions this season.
Ally McCoist predicts Tottenham victory
The pundits are split on the upcoming Europa League final.
Ally McCoist has a feeling Ange Postecoglou will be coming away from Bilbao with the trophy.
The Tottenham manager is under pressure to keep his job, but beating United in the Europa League would ease what has been a difficult season for the club on the pitch, but not as difficult to what United fans have endured.
“For me, that’s the flip of the coin. It really is,” McCoist told DAZN.
“I couldn’t split them. Maddison would be a massive miss for Tottenham. There’s no doubt about it. Bruno (Fernandes) turns up on the big occasions. So my first thought would be there would be a slight favouritism towards Manchester United because they’re key players playing.
“But I probably think Spurs for no other reason than sometimes that’s football, especially when big Ange is convinced he can win things in the second year.
“I actually said, believe it or not, I said about six, seven weeks ago that it wouldn’t surprise me if they did win that tournament. So I would stick with that hunch, and it’s nothing more than a hunch.
“Because of the form of both sides, you could argue United’s form in Europe has been slightly better than Spurs, even though the last two results for Tottenham have been very, very good.
“But I defy anybody, whether you know football or don’t know football, to confidently predict the outcome of a game between two teams that have lost 35 league games between them. And they’ve shown a ridiculous level of inconsistency.
“So I would slightly go for Tottenham but with no degree of confidence. Let’s be honest about it. We all want to see it, don’t we?”
