Manchester United are in the mix to sign World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, and a decision on his future has been made.
Fabrizio Romano says it is 100 per cent that Alexis Mac Allister will leave Brighton this summer amid interest from Manchester United.
He said: “Understand Alexis Mac Allister and his camp consider summer move as 100% guaranteed. The expectation is for an early transfer.”
Manchester United face Mac Allister and Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final this coming weekend.

Mac Allister expected to leave
Alexis Mac Allister is among Manchester United’s list of midfield recruits. Argentine reporter Cesar Luis Merlo said Brighton are looking for around £60 million.
The Argentine international has had a terrific season, helping his country to win the World Cup at the end of last year.
One of the challenges for Manchester United is the sheer volume of potential suitors in Mac Allister’s signature.
Liverpool are planning to hold talks for him, The Mail report, with The Evening Standard also reporting interest from Chelsea.
United may have the advantage of Champions League football to offer Mac Allister next season – however, the midfielder’s desire for an ‘early transfer’ could be problematic.
The ongoing saga in relation to Manchester United’s planned takeover could hit the club early in the transfer market.
United’s top priority is also to sign a striker, and a midfielder could have to wait.
If Mac Allister wants United, he may have to wait. In the meantime, clubs who prioritise his signature may be able to steal a march.
How he performs this weekend against United and in the league game in May, could dictate United’s desire for his signature.
