Manchester United loanee Alex Telles has now left Qatar to return to Sevilla, reports ESPN Brasil and channel R7.
Telles suffered an injury in Brazil’s final group game against Cameroon, which R7 describe as a partial rupture of the lateral ligament of the right knee, with posterior cruciate.
Last night Telles was in the crowd as Brazil beat South Korea 4-1, and star man Neymar even made a point of going over to celebrate with him.
Telles won’t be sticking around all tournament, however, as he has now flown to Spain for treatment.

Telles has now left Qatar
R7 reported that Telles first stayed in Qatar as he had begun initial treatment on his injury with the Brazilian team doctors.
This has stabilised the injury, and he is now returning to Sevilla for the second phase of his rehab, to be evaluated.
ESPN Brasil reports Telles faces a minimum of two months out of action.
This would make him eligible to return for Sevilla this season, where he has 19 appearances this season, 11 of which have been starts.
It might be tight for Telles to return in time for Sevilla’s Europa League campaign in February.
If his injury turns out to be more serious in nature, then it is likely Telles would return to Manchester United for treatment.
