Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho pulled no punches on social media after a fan ruthlessly mocked him for his performances in the new season.
Alejandro Garnacho was absent from Manchester United’s pre-season tour in the summer after representing Argentina at the 2024 Copa America.
The 20-year-old Spain-born winger only made one appearance at the Copa America, while United teammate Lisandro Martinez played a key role for Argentina.
Garnacho has become a fan favourite at Old Trafford and the United winger has firmly established himself as a key first-team player under Erik ten Hag.
However, the United star faces increasing competition for a place in the starting XI, with Amad Diallo now vying for his place out on the right wing.
Garnacho made his presence felt last month after he came off the bench and broke the deadlock against Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.
Despite the Argentina international’s impact in the match, City rallied back with a late equaliser before Pep Guardiola’s men clinched the win on penalties.

Man Utd star Garnacho responds to fan
Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench again in Manchester United’s opening Premier League match of the season and set up Joshua Zirkzee for the winner.
Following his assist in the 1-0 win over Fulham at Old Trafford, Garnacho found himself on the bench again for United’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton at the Amex.
The Argentina winger made a brief cameo appearance against Brighton before Erik ten Hag finally started Garnacho for the 3-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday.
Garnacho disappointed with his performance against Liverpool at Old Trafford and the United star was pulled off in the 69th minute for teammate Amad Diallo.
One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, took aim at the United attacker by posting a compilation of his ‘season so far’ in a bid to mock him further.

Garnacho took to social media and hit back at the fan’s trolling attempt, with the United star later deleting his tweet from the platform.
“Wasting your time making clips for me. Your life so far,” he wrote, adding a laughing face emoji and a fire emoji.
Why Garnacho was subbed off vs Liverpool
Speaking after the Liverpool defeat, Ten Hag staunchly defended his decision to withdraw Garnacho and keep Marcus Rashford on the pitch.
“It was the first start for [Joshua] Zirkzee and for [Alejandro] Garnacho. Then you decide to bring players on who can have an impact,” he told BBC Sport.
“[Amad] Diallo, he deserved it [to come on]. He can have an impact. We then brought a player off who is not used to 90 minutes.”
Ten Hag added: “The second thing as well, Rashford had some very good assists for Zirkzee. So, he had an impact in the game.”
