Manchester United were defeated by Galatasaray last night in a really weird game, as the only positive to come out of it was Rasmus Hojlund.
Rasmus Hojlund bagged his first Old Trafford goal, before quickly bagging his second and even had one really cool finish ruled out for offside.
He opened the scoring in the 17th minute thanks to a brilliant piece of play which put Marcus Rashford down the right where he almost volleyed it into the box at Hojlund.
Grateful for the creation, Hojlund was left with no choice but to score a thunderous header.
In the 67th minute, Hojlund doubled his account as he capitalised on a slip and raced through on goal, using his strength to shrug off Galatasaray defenders and lifting it calmly over the goalkeeper.
His performance was the solitary positive for United which drew praise from the commentators on TNT sports, Darren Fletcher and Glenn Hoddle.

TNT commentators on Hojlund
Speaking during the match upon review of the first goal, Darren Fletcher raved about the Danish striker.
He said: “The ball from Rashford gives Hojlund no option but to put it in the net.” Before continuing, “What a goal this is, a real centre forward’s goal.”
While Glenn Hoddle’s attention was captured by a wonderful piece of hold-up play by Hojlund, “absolutely brilliant, everything you want from a centre-forward; strength, changes the play.”
Hojlund was immense and on another day United don’t collapse at the back and he is an instant hero, now he will be hoping to grab his first Premier League goals v Brentford on Saturday.
He was top tier v Galatasary
Playing the entire game, Hojlund scored twice but also showcased his developing hold up play which was so impressive.
He completed three dribbles along with one key pass and even beat the Galatasaray right back a few times.
He won six duels as he made the defenders evening tough and is really starting to look the part, we just hope the rest of the team can straighten up soon.
