Anthony Martial has had his fair share of injury issues throughout the past few seasons at Old Trafford and it seems the Frenchman has suffered yet another issue.
The 27-year-old forward has had a poor start to the season and was seemingly on his way out of the club but United couldn’t find any takers for the former AS Monaco man.
According to Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, the French forward was spotted leaving Carrington, United’s training ground, just five minutes after he arrived for training.
He has since clarified the reason why – Martial turned up at the wrong time. He wrote: “Now looks as though Martial has turned up for training at the wrong time. Today’s session not until this afternoon, according to Utd.”

Martial’s fitness history
Nobody would have been surprised if Anthony Martial was injured, which is why him leaving Carrington after just five minutes was so newsworthy.
He missed both of United’s cup finals through injury last season and the entire pre-season campaign this summer.
How will United’s attack look against Brighton
Thankfully, Rasmus Hojlund has come through Denmark’s international games seemingly unscathed as the forward was limited to substitute appearances in both games.
Ten Hag is expected to replace Martial, regardless of fitness, who started the defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Hojlund will surely start the match as he is relatively fresh following limited involvement for Denmark and Marcus Rashford will surely start again from the left, too.
It’s the position on the right-hand side that provides the biggest headaches for Ten Hag.
Due to Antony’s time away from the club, you’d wonder if Facundo Pellistri will finally get the start that he deserves.
What seems most likely is that if Mason Mount is fit then Bruno Fernandes may well start on the right-hand side and Sofyan Amrabat comes in alongside Casemiro in a double pivot.
