Gabriel Jesus is back in training with Arsenal. His first game back could be against Manchester United.
The £45m man was one of Arsenal’s best players last season. He provided them with much-needed goals that propelled them to their best finish in recent times, sitting in second place just behind Manchester City.
Due to this, Mikel Arteta decided not to go in for a striker this summer, putting faith in the Brazilian and his understudy – Eddie Nketiah.
However, Jesus has a history of being quite injury-prone, and the worst struck before the season with the recurrence of a knee injury resurfacing.

Jesus to feature against Manchester United?
Initially, it was reported by Sky Sports that he had undergone surgery and would miss ‘a few weeks’.
This was around a month before the fixture, meaning it was touch and go as to whether Jesus would feature in the huge clash against the Red Devils.
Ever-reliable football reporter Fabrizio Romano confirmed earlier today that the forward was back in full training, which means he’ll likely now be available for the Gunners when they face United.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Arsenal do have a game in between. They face Fulham, but it’s probably a little too soon for Jesus to make a return.
He’ll likely feature against United, if not from the off, but off the bench.
Good news for Jesus, bad news for United – he’s a top player.
When do Manchester United play Arsenal?
Manchester Utd take on Arsenal on Sunday the 3rd of September 2023 at the Emirates.
The match will be the second fixture taking place on Super Sunday and will no doubt be Erik ten Hag’s toughest test of the season yet.
