Manchester United have been active on transfer deadline day with incomings, outgoings, permanent and loan.

Incomings

Altay Bayindir completed his transfer to Manchester United for a fee of £4.3 million, BBC Sport reported.

Football director John Murtough told the club website: “Altay is an excellent addition to our squad and adds further quality to our already strong group of experienced goalkeepers.

“Having consistently performed at a high level in a strong European league, he has the qualities to support us in achieving our ambitions across all competitions this season and beyond.”

Sergio Reguilon has signed for Manchester United on loan. He will provide cover while Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are injured.

Murtough told club media of Reguilon: “Once it became clear that we needed to bring in another left-back we assessed a number of targets and acted quickly to sign Sergio.”

Jonny Evans has signed his one-year deal after impressing during pre-season. Injuries to Raphael Varane, and Luke Shaw, who can also play centre-back, increased United’s need for defensive cover.

Sofyan Amrabat was the final signing on transfer deadline day, signed on loan with a right to buy. The club announced this as late as 10.30pm, with half an hour to spare.

Outgoings

Marc Jurado left Manchester United to sign with Espanyol on a permanent deal.

The promising right-back wrote on Instagram: “It is not easy to say goodbye to what has been my house for the last 3 years but the time is perfect to start a new chapter in my career.”

Academy striker Nehemiah Oriola has left Manchester United to sign with Brighton and Hove Albion, he confirmed via social media.

Charlie McNeill has left for League One side Stevenage on a season long loan deal, the club confirmed.

Alvaro Fernandez has also clinched a move to Spanish side Granada on loan. He was deemed surplus to requirements after Sergio Reguilon’s arrival.

Logan Pye has left Manchester United on a permanent basis to sign with Burnley. He will go into their under-21 squad.

Mason Greenwood has left Manchester United to sign for Spanish side Getafe on a season long loan.
