Man Utd v Atalanta team news

Marcus Rashford made his return from injury against Leicester, and is in line for a start here.

Harry Maguire was rushed back against his former club and it remains to be seen whether he gets the nod in this one.

Raphael Varane will definitely miss this clash. His French international teammate Anthony Martial was not in the squad against Leicester.

Amad is unlikely to be fit to even make the bench against his former club.

Everyone else should be fit to play, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is available after the extended ban for his red card against Young Boys was overturned.

Our prediction: Man Utd v Atalanta

This is a huge game and United need to offer up a major improvement on their recent performances.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is coming under pressure and the fixtures are getting harder and harder now.

Atalanta are a dangerous, high-tempo opponent and won at Anfield last season.

They are similar to Leeds, and that might just play into United’s hands if they leave themselves open.

Our prediction: United 2-1 Atalanta
