Manchester United managed to snatch all three points against Fulham. Before the winner, Antony was slammed by Jermaine Jenas.
The performance of Manchester United was worrying, to say the least in spite of a 1-0 win. With little created in 90 minutes and only a brilliant piece of individual play turning one point into three.
There were several candidates on the pitch as United’s best on a poor day, but as for the worst, there was one clear candidate.
That being Antony, who has been even worse than before since he returned from his absence. During the game, Jermaine Jenas couldn’t help but slam the United winger.

Jermaine Jenas slams the Brazilian ace
Speaking on TNT’s commentary during the second half of United’s trip to Craven Cottage, Jenas couldn’t hold back his critique of Antony.
“How he has stayed on the pitch as long as he has I don’t know. Poor.”
As United fans booed while Antony left the pitch, Jenas said: “Whatever they’re doing they are well within their rights after what that man has brought to the table today. Clearly struggling.”
A scathing but fair review of Antony’s display against Fulham which sums up how many will be thinking about the Brazilian.
What can United do with Antony now?
Signed just over a year ago, Antony already looks like a signing destined not to work out. It is clear Erik ten Hag is desperate to see him succeed but it just doesn’t seem to be going that way.
We don’t play a style of football which will ever suit him and allow him to flourish. He needs to be in a team that will have sustained pressure and options for him to link up with.
We saw against Fulham a couple of times he looked to be away from the defence, but he doesn’t have that explosiveness to threaten defenders.
A very poor display, but how many more times will he be deployed in a way that he can’t play in before it is realised he isn’t working? We can’t blame him anymore when the manager is selecting him after a year and a bit of poor displays.
