Sky Sports pundits Roy Keane and Micah Richards were on the same wavelength over one standout moment from the Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest match.
Michael Carrick’s men signed off their final Premier League match at Old Trafford in the 2025-26 campaign with a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Luke Shaw opened the scoring for Manchester United against Forest in the first half before Morato pulled Vitor Pereira’s men level early in the second half.
Both Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo netted to put the Red Devils 3-1 up before Morgan Gibbs-White scored for Forest against Man Utd at Old Trafford.

Roy Keane’s assessment of the Bryan Mbeumo controversy during Man Utd’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest
Matheus Cunha pounced on the loose ball and the Brazilian forward slotted the ball into the bottom corner of the Nottingham Forest net in the 54th minute.
However, Bryan Mbeumo was amid the controversy after it was accused that the Manchester United star had committed handball in the build-up to Cunha’s strike.
VAR intervened on the handball claim and called for Premier League referee Michael Salisbury to review the incident at the pitchside monitor at Old Trafford.
However, Michael Salisbury stood by his initial decision on the pitch to allow play to continue and did not agree with VAR over Mbeumo committing handball.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Roy Keane insisted that the pundits were deeply confused by Salisbury not overturning Cunha’s effort after the Mbeumo incident.
“We are confused ourselves here, especially when the referee gets asked to go to the screen and then gives it,” he said, as per BBC Sport.
“All of us ex-footballers will all be saying the same, handball, and I don’t think anyone would have complained about it.
“We were all scratching our heads when it was allowed.”

Micah Richards feels the same way as Roy Keane over the referee and VAR debacle around Bryan Mbeumo
Micah Richards was baffled at how Michael Salisbury did not agree with VAR after the Premier League referee reviewed the handball incident for the second time.
“It’s a handball,” he said on Sky Sports.
“It’s as simple as that. The referee has gone to the screen and made a decision, but if you look at it, it’s clear as day.”
Man Utd will now finish the 2025-26 Premier League season in third place in the table after Michael Carrick’s side chalked up all three points at the weekend.
