Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will make minimal changes to his team to face Brighton tomorrow.
He has already confirmed that Paul Pogba will continue to skipper the side in Antonio Valencia’s absence and yesterday revealed that the game comes too soon for Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic.Lingard, Matic and Valencia have been training with the team since yesterday [Thursday],
he told the press yesterday. They are fully fit but not yet ready to play or even to be selected, I think, and that’s it.
Of course, some of the boys are in a better condition because before Leicester they trained just three days and after this long, good working week, normally they are in a better condition,
Mourinho added.
Matteo Darmian is therefore likely to keep his place at right back, with the major change likely to be on the right; Romelu Lukaku is back in contention to start, so Juan Mata is likely to miss out with Marcus Rashford moving over to that side.
Elsewhere, Andreas Pereira should retain his place after a fine performance against Leicester City.
