Manchester United line-up against Newcastle at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final tomorrow, looking to win a first trophy since 2017.
Thursday night’s game with Barcelona was United’s biggest of the season to date but the silverware on offer makes this one more important yet still.
Erik ten Hag has rotated his front-line to get effect in recent weeks and used substitutions effectively to change games, but he still has big selection calls to make here.
Here is the direction we think he will go in, as Ten Hag goes in search of silverware at the very first time of asking for United.

Manchester United Predicted XI vs Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final
Newcastle have a nightmare goalkeeping situation with Nick Pope out and Martin Dubravka cup-tied after playing for Manchester United in an earlier round.
We have no such issues and David de Gea will start in goal here. We expect Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez to play at centre-back.
Luke Shaw is likely to play at left-back, despite competition from Tyrell Malacia and the decision at right-back is even harder.
We expect Aaron Wan-Bissaka to play on the right of the back four, but Diogo Dalot came on to good effect on Thursday and could get the nod as a more attacking options.
Casemiro is a shoo-in to start at the base of midfield, and Fred’s performance against Barcelona should be enough to keep him in the side ahead of Marcel Sabitzer.
Antony came on to great effect on Thursday night, scoring the winning goal, and we’ve got him coming into the side for Jadon Sancho, in the only change to the starting XI.
That would see Bruno Fernandes move back inside, having started on the right in both legs against Barca, with Wout Weghorst up-front.
Marcus Rashford is an injury doubt, and we expect United will keep Newcastle guessing over whether the Englishman is fit to play.
Rashford has history for playing through the pain barrier, and we expect him to be in the starting line-up, on the left hand side.
