Manchester United returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest, sending Erik Ten Hag’s side up to third in the Premier League standings.
Here are the full player ratings from the Red Devil’s victory at the City Ground as the Manchester giants took a huge step towards securing a top-four finish ahead of Newcastle United and Tottenham.
David De Gea – 6
One of David De Gea’s quietest games this year as Nottingham Forest failed to test the Spanish goalkeeper. The Garibaldi had chances, yet the Manchester United shot-stopper hardly broke a sweat.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6
With injuries beginning to pile up, Aaron Wan-Bissaka was again in the starting XI having played the full 90 against Everton and Real Betis, with the Manchester United right-back putting in a solid shift against a dull Nottingham Forest attack.
Harry Maguire – 7

Was fortunate enough to not concede a penalty for handball and lived dangerously at the City Ground having received an early booking. However, Maguire composed himself and deserved a clean sheet after an overall impressive performance.
Victor Lindelof – 6
Victor Lindelof will be expected to play a massive role for Manchester United between now and the end of the season, and the Swedish international gave a good account of himself alongside Maguire.
Diogo Dalot – 8

Despite almost gifting Nottingham Forest a goal in the opening half, Diogo Dalot sealed the three points for Manchester United by scoring his first-ever Premier League goal on his 100th appearance for the club.
Casemiro – 6
Making his first Premier League appearance since March, Casemiro’s return had not come at a better time for Manchester United amid their ongoing injury crisis, and the Brazilian yet again gave a good account of himself.
Christian Eriksen – 7
A late inclusion in the squad after an injury to Marcel Sabitzer, Eriksen impressed back in the Manchester United XI alongside Casemiro, with the Danish international controlling the midfield and looking fresh after four months out.
Jadon Sancho – 5
Another frustrating match for Jadon Sancho, who took one-too-many touches in dangerous opportunities that could have extended Manchester United’s lead at the City Ground.
Bruno Fernandes – 8
The Portuguese midfielder was at his creative best this afternoon, with Fernandes playing around the Nottingham Forest defence like it was nothing and causing Steve Cooper’s side plenty of problems.
Antony – 7

Started the game brightly and was awarded with the opening goal against Nottingham Forest. Antony continued to cause problems and enjoyed one of his best games in a Manchester United shirt since arriving last summer.
Anthony Martial – 7
Terrorised Nottingham Forest’s defence from the first minute and was unlucky to not open the scoring in the first half, with Martial’s saved shot allowing Antony to tap in the opener.
Subs
Wout Weghorst – 6
Replaced Martial with 20 minutes to go and made a crucial run to allow Antony to assist Dalot for the final goal.
Fred – 6
Came on in place of Erikisen and kept things tidy at the back alongside Casemiro in midfield.
