Manchester United enacted revenge over Leeds United with a 2-0 win at Elland Road, with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho scoring late on to secure the three points.
Here is a look at our player ratings from the victory in Yorkshire…
David De Gea – 7
Sloppy on the ball but was there to deal with the danger when presented with shots. A mixed performance on De Gea’s 400th Premier League appearance for the Red Devils.
Diogo Dalot – 6.5
Cracked a wicked shot off the post but struggled massively against Jack Harrison. Brought off for Aaron-Wan Bissaka with 20 minutes to go which changed the tempo for the visitors.
Harry Maguire – 5
First league start since early January and looked nervy for most parts playing from out the back. Gave away the ball a few times and will likely be out of the starting XI to face FC Barcelona on Thursday.
Luke Shaw – 7
Assisted Marcus Rashford’s late opener but struggled playing in central defence alongside Maguire. The shift to left-back greatly helped the England international, and his impact on the final result was huge.
Tyrell Malacia – 6.5
Kept Crysencio Summerville quiet for most of the hour and did well in some attacking phases for United when given the chance. Ten Hag still saw it fit to take Malacia off for Lisandro Martinez 61 minutes in.
Fred – 7
Finally looked comfortable in a Casemiro-less midfield and was one of Manchester United’s driving attacking forces. Fred can feel happy with his display and the clean sheet against a dangerous Leeds side.
Marcel Sabitzer – 7
Started the move for Marcus Rashford’s goal and controlled the midfield well alongside Fred. The deadline day signing is adapting well to Ten Hag’s system and Premier League football.
Jadon Sancho – 6
Named in a Premier League XI for the first time since October after impressing during the week yet failed to do much against Leeds this time around. Hooked off on the hour mark for Alejandro Garnacho.
Bruno Fernandes – 5
Failed to make much of an impact in the attacking midfield role and missed a golden chance to score in the opening half. Was lucky to not come off earlier for one of Manchester United’s limited senior players on the bench.
Marcus Rashford – 8

Broke the deadlock with ten minutes to go with a fine header to bring his goal tally for the season to 21 in all competitions. Struggled to break down Leeds’ defence and was rewarded with a deserved winner.
Wout Weghorst – 6
Assisted Alejandro Garnacho’s late goal but was rather quiet in an attacking sense. Held the ball well in the final third but didn’t use his physical frame to its full use.
Subs:
Lisandro Martinez – 7
Changed the game with Lisandro Martinez’s introduction shifting Shaw to fullback and adding leadership and steel to the central defence. Questionable why the Argentine didn’t start from the beginning.
Alejandro Garnacho – 7

Scored with five minutes go to wrap up the three points for Manchester United with a fantastic near-post finish. Huge impact despite being on the pitch for just 30 minutes.
Aaron Wan Bissaka – 6
Played just 20 minutes and helped United see out the game with a clean sheet.
