Manchester United were held to a draw at Crystal Palace after a late free-kick equaliser, although still moved up to third in the Premier League table.

Here is a look at our player ratings from the fixture…

David de Gea – 8

Outstanding fingertip save late in the first half when the game was goalless, and followed it up with a diving stop in the second half. Could do nothing about Olise’s last minute equaliser.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.5

Started sharply and looked to be playing with real confidence. Fantastic late tackle to deny Wilfried Zaha.

Raphael Varane – 6.5

Calm as ever, helped United keep possession at the back well.

Lisandro Martinez – 7

Elbowed in the head early on and played with a bandage. Booked in the second half. Strong in the air and comfortable striding out with the ball.

Luke Shaw – 7

Saw a first half shot flash wide, and later showed excellent recovery pace to track back Wilfried Zaha.

Christian Eriksen – 7

Wonderful run and pass to set up Manchester United’s opener for his ninth assist of the season.

Casemiro – 7.5

Worked hard at both ends of the pitch, very positionally aware all the time. His night was ruined however by a late booking, and should have netted an injury time winner.

Bruno Fernandes – 7

Excellent run to get into space inside the Palace box for his goal, and took it with precision. Passed inside the box in the second half when he should have scored.

Marcus Rashford – 6

Played the one-two with Eriksen for United’s first goal. Aside from that, not his night.

Antony – 6

Lively, competed for every ball, just couldn’t find the end product needed. Substituted on 69 minutes.

Wout Weghorst – 6.5

Predictably lacked a little sharpness, yet still led the line well. His run distracted the Palace defenders for Fernandes’ goal. Played 69 minutes.

Substitutes:

Alejandro Garnacho – 6

Did little to really impact the game, unlike at the weekend.

Scott McTominay – 6

Should have had a penalty when he was fouled in the box. Looked bright and United will need him on Sunday.

Fred – N/A

Played the last 10 minutes.
