A poll has just revealed who Manchester United fans thought was the man of the match as they beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Met Life Stadium.
It was a night to remember for the Red Devils in New York. Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho made sure that it was three out of three wins so far for Erik ten Hag‘s men on their travels.
But there are still many games to go. United next face Wrexham, before two more extremely tough tasks in the US in Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. They then head elsewhere to face a few more, before the Premier League season eventually begins.
This is a great opportunity for players to impress before the start of the campaign. Some are really rising to the occasion, with a lot of stand-out performers against Arsenal. But who was MOTM?

Man of the match v Arsenal
Manchester United supporters voted via the club website and app for the man of the match after the victory over Fulham.
Bruno Fernandes was named as the winner with supporters impressed by his first-half efforts and goal.
- Bruno Fernandes: 36 per cent
- Kobbie Mainoo: 34 per cent
- Jadon Sancho: 11 per cent
- Tom Heaton: 6 per cent
- Other players: three per cent or fewer
A fine performance from the newly awarded captain. His left-footed strike in the first-half set United on their way to dismantling Mikel Arteta’s side.

He also was dominant in the first half, leading by example in his passing, tackling and overall game. He really epitomised his nickname of the Portuguese Magnifico.
Despite Bruno being a deserving winner, you can’t deny that Kobbie Mainoo was very unfortunate to miss out.
The youngster was simply sensational. He completely suppressed the £105 million pound Declan Rice and looked so comfortable in and amongst some really talented players.
At just 18 years of age, this was a monumental performance. We get it’s only pre-season and we don’t want to jump the gun, but we hope that he’s in and around ten Hag’s plans for the first-team squad this season.
Do you think the MOTM vote was correct?
