Manchester United saw Matheus Cunha continue his hot streak in a 1-1 draw at Leeds, but another poor star is becoming an unavoidable problem for Ruben Amorim.
Both teams’ defensive setups cancelled each other out in the first half, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck the post for Leeds and Leny Yoro tested Leeds’ goalkeeper, which were the only notable moments.
The game came alive in a frantic five-minute spell where United conceded, Ruben Amorim changed shape to bring on Joshua Zirkzee, who assisted Matheus Cunha’s equaliser.

Zirkzee kept United in the ascendancy as he completely changed the game, but missed chances by Sesko and Cunha saw the team come away with a point.

Continued with his star-turn in the middle of the defence. Out-run by Aaronson for the goal but any action from him could have left United with ten men.

Led from the front by playing nice, raking passes forward, while keeping his own box secure with aggression.

Almost scored from a corner in the first half. Was targeted at times by Leeds in one-on-ones.
Patrick Dorgu – 6
No repeat heroics from the right-sided No. 10 spot as he wasted numerous opportunities in attack.
Diogo Dalot – 4
Sloppy touches and misplaced passes scream lack of quality on the ball. Lost the ball for Leeds’ opener. He’s poor but irreplaceable in the team right now, and that’s a problem.
Manuel Ugarte – 7
Scrappy game suited his strengths as he marshalled the midfield with aggression. One loopy header had the Leeds goalkeeper scrambling.

Scored a beautiful goal that was ruled out for offside, then made it count in the second half with another far-post finish.

Struggled to get to grips with the pace of the game. Was too easy to handle for the Leeds defence. Only plus point is that he’s at least getting in positions to get those chances he wastes.
