Morgan Gibbs-White was a standout talking point for Manchester United fans after the Red Devils hosted Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Michael Carrick’s men played their final Premier League match of the season at Old Trafford on Sunday and Luke Shaw broke the deadlock with a stunning strike.
Following Luke Shaw’s Manchester United opener against Nottingham Forest, the Red Devils took their 1-0 advantage into the half-time break at Old Trafford.
Morato pulled Forest level against United only seven minutes into the second half, but Matheus Cunha restored the Red Devils’ Premier League lead two minutes later.

Morgan Gibbs-White caught the attention of Man Utd fans during the final 2025-26 Premier League match at Old Trafford
Bryan Mbeumo scored in the second half to put Manchester United 3-1 up at Old Trafford, while Morgan Gibbs-White reduced the deficit only two minutes later.
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Manchester United fans reacted to Gibbs-White’s impact and are now convinced that the Red Devils must sign him this summer.
A Man Utd fan tweeted: “Elliott Anderson is a wonderful player. But the Forest player who looks most like a United player is Morgan Gibbs-White. Everything about him. He looks the part as a perfect Manchester United player.”
Another Red Devils supporter wrote: “The Manchester United owners should not let Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White leave the stadium without signing a [Red Devils] contract.”
“Morgan Gibbs-White is such a great player. Manchester United should sign him,” a third X user posted.
Someone else said: “I will be okay if United sign those [two] only (Anderson [and] Gibbs-White) this summer. They will increase the quality of this team.”
“Bro, I’ve been saying for a minute that I’d love for us to bring Gibbs-White to the club whilst Bruno’s still here. He’s a United fan as well and has the mentality to play for us. If we sign Rogers, my head will be so hot,” another X user tweeted.
While a sixth argued: “We have to sign Morgan Gibbs-White.”
“Gibbs-White is actually Bruno’s back-up; [we’d] better sign him, too,” somebody else claimed.
And an eighth suggested: “Can we sign Gibbs-White in the summer? Such a good player.”

Man Utd now look to sign off their 2025-26 Premier League season with their final Premier League away match
Michael Carrick’s United side have ensured that they will finish third in the Premier League table after Sunday’s result against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
The 44-year-old United legend’s permanent appointment is expected to happen soon after reports that Ineos will stick with Carrick due to the success of his interim reign.
Carrick inherited a Man Utd side that were seventh in the Premier League table back in January and the former midfielder turned the tide at Old Trafford in a major way.
Ruben Amorim had been sacked as United head coach and Darren Fletcher briefly served as caretaker boss ahead of Carrick’s return to the Premier League club.
Man Utd will travel away to the Amex for their final Premier League match of the 2026-27 campaign, with the Red Devils facing Brighton on 24th May.
