Casemiro and Benjamin Sesko caught the eye of Manchester United fans and Red Devils supporters voiced their clear-cut feelings on both players’ Premier League displays against Aston Villa.
Manchester United took the lead over Aston Villa early in the second half after Casemiro turned a superb glancing header past an outstretched Emiliano Martinez.
However, Villa hit back against United and Unai Emery’s men pulled level after Lucas Digne picked out Ross Barkley, who netted a fantastic equaliser at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils restored their advantage in the 71st minute after Matheus Cunha latched onto Bruno Fernandes’ through-ball and subsequently netted for his side.

Michael Carrick’s immediate verdict on Casemiro’s impact from Bruno Fernandes’ Man Utd corner-kick
Bruno Fernandes aimed a dangerous corner into the Villa box only eight minutes after the break and Casemiro escaped his marker and latched onto the ball.
Casemiro’s header struck the inside of Emiliano Martinez’s post, but the ball still managed to roll over the line to put Man Utd into their 1-0 lead on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, Michael Carrick was not surprised by the link-up that Fernandes and Casemiro have shown under him during his interim spell so far.
“Casemiro and Bruno [Fernandes] have a good understanding,” he told Sky Sports, as per BBC Sport.
“Some you can coach and some you leave to them to find the moment. The partnership they have got is pretty obvious. It was a great ball and a great header.”
Casemiro has netted seven times and registered two assists in 29 matches across all competitions for Man Utd in the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford.
