The 44-year-old United legend carried on to build momentum on Sunday afternoon, with the Red Devils picking up a dramatic late 3-2 win over Fulham at Old Trafford.

Red Devils supporters took to United In Focus’ TalkingPoints and dropped their instant reactions to the midfield performance of Casemiro on Sunday afternoon.

One Man Utd fan said: “It is a shame that we are not keeping him for an extra year. Would have loved it if we kept him on a much lesser contract.”

Someone else commented: “Has to be Casemiro [for Man of the Match] for me!”

“Wish we could have kept Casemiro for one more year—on a lesser contract, of course,” another Red Devils fan suggested.

Somebody else added: “There is nothing stopping him [from] dropping off again, though. I get the system didn’t help, but he was awful under [Erik] Ten Hag and [Ruben] Amorim.”

While another claimed: “He was quality. We seriously dropped off when he went off, as per.”

“Only went off because of that yellow card as well. We NEED [sic] a replacement for him this summer,” a sixth TalkingPoints user posted.

And a seventh argued: “Casemiro for me. Class act in every single action, and no coincidence we lost a step after he went off.”
