Manchester United interim manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy is preparing for his final game in temporary charge of the Red Devils.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s Manchester United picked up a 2-0 win over PAOK in the UEFA Europa League with two goals from Amad Diallo, who struggled under Erik ten Hag, enough for the points.

Since being temporarily put in charge at Old Trafford following Ten Hag’s sacking, Van Nistelrooy has masterminded an unbeaten three-game run and hopes to extend that to four this weekend when the Red Devils take on Leicester City.

Manchester United vs Leicester City date & kick-off time

United will play Leicester at Old Trafford on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Red Devils played the Foxes last week in the Carabao Cup.

The Red Devils played Leicester in the Carabao Cup which was Van Nistelrooy’s first game in temporary charge of the club and they recorded a 5-2 victory over the East Midlands side.

Casemiro scored twice for the Red Devils with Bruno Fernandes also netting twice and Alejandro Garnacho getting in on the act in what was a dominant victory.

Van Nistelrooy will be hoping for a similar afternoon of dominance this weekend.

Despite the game kicking off at 2pm on a Sunday, Sky Sports will not be showing United’s clash against the Foxes at Old Trafford.

Instead, Nottingham Forest’s clash with Newcastle United will be shown live on Sky, which was a similar situation to United’s clash against West Ham United back in October.

If you are from the United Kingdom, United’s clash against Leicester will not be shown on any television channel but if you’re from outside of the UK then you will be able to watch the match.

Luke Shaw was spotted in training for the Red Devils this week with the Englishman being out injured for the club since February.

Leny Yoro is also back training and could well return for the Red Devils following the international break in what will be Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge.

Mason Mount made his return for the Red Devils in the UEFA Europa League and will be available for selection for this weekend’s game.

After his brilliant midweek performance, Amad Diallo will be hoping for another starting berth in the first team under Van Nistelrooy.
