Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was still ruled out through injury for this evening’s clash with Chelsea.

United actually suffered another defensive injury with Raphael Varane forced off injured just before the hour mark close to tears.

That could hand Maguire a route back into the side and he is now back out on the grass running as he continues his injury rehabilitation.

Maguire reacts to late United equaliser at Chelsea

United were staring down the barrel of a defeat against the Blues, as Jorginho netted a late penalty after a foul by Scott McTominay.

But Casemiro netted an amazing header to get his first goal for the club and salvage a dramatic but deserved late draw.

Maguire posted on his Instagram story not long after the goal went in with a three-word message for the Brazilian: ‘What a header’.

It remains to be seen when Maguire will get back into this United side, with Victor Lindelof coming on and performing impressively.

The spot in the side is the Swede’s to lose and Maguire has to work hard to get back fit and get into the starting eleven.

Casemiro is now coming into his own more and more in a red shirt and this late goal should give him even more confidence.
