Manchester United were held to a third consecutive draw in the Premier League after travelling to face Burnley.
It ended 2-2 at Turf Moor on Wednesday night as Manchester United missed another opportunity to make ground on their quest to compete for one of the Champions League spots.
Darren Fletcher was standing on the touchline as caretaker head coach, but he will be disappointed not to have come away from the game with three points.
United went behind against Burnley, with Ayden Heaven deflecting a cross into his own net after 13 minutes.
Man Utd have drawn 2-2 with Burnley… What is your INSTANT REACTION?
What did you think of Darren Fletcher's management?
Burnley were happy to sit back after taking an early lead, but United took until the final 10 minutes of the first half to push on and threaten Burnley’s goal.
It took United five minutes in the second half to find the equaliser when Benjamin Sesko tucked away his effort in front of the away section.
Sesko made it 2-1 on the hour mark with a stunning volley to beat former United loanee Martin Dubravka, but Burnley equalised six minutes later through Jadon Anthony with his second goal against United this season.
Here are the winners and losers for United.

Winners
Firstly, the winners from United’s trip to Turf Moor.
Benjamin Sesko: In the first half, Sesko forced Dubravka into a full-stretched save with a header. He had shots on target and took his goal brilliantly in the 50th minute.
The Slovenia international completed his first brace in a United shirt when he converted a cross from Patrick Dorgu with a quality finish.
Sesko now has four goals since arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer. It was his best performance in a United shirt.
Bruno Fernandes: Back in his best position, as a number 10, Fernandes created an assist for Sesko with a wonderfully weighted pass on the edge of the box. This was Fernandes showing how lethal he can be in the final third.
Fernandes got an hour under his belt on his return from injury before being replaced by Mason Mount. He was denied by the post in his final minutes on the pitch.
The Portugal international now has more assists (8) than any other player in the Premier League this season.
Luke Shaw: Although Shaw has been one of United’s most consistent performers this season, the 30-year-old looked at home on his return to the left-back role.
It will be important for whoever takes charge of the team to keep Shaw fit for the remainder of the season.
Who was your Man Utd MOTM vs Burnley?
Shea Lacey: The youngster came off the bench in the 84th minute, but caused the Burnley defence problems when he cut in from the right flank on two occasions to shoot from distance. It would have been a remarkable story had he scored, but his cameo showed that Lacey should get more opportunities between now and the end of the season.
Losers
Finally, a look at the losers.
Casemiro: Left his runner free in a dangerous position to cross the ball for Burnley’s opening goal. Some may suggest Heaven should do better, but he only looked late getting out to his man because Casemiro stopped defending. It was poor on the Brazilian’s part.
Ruben Amorim: It may be harsh to include Amorim, especially just one day after his sacking as United head coach, but if he watched the game, he would have been feeling disappointed that he didn’t have players available like Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire. Both returned tonight, but United couldn’t get the desired result.
Lisandro Martinez: The Argentine was guilty of dropping off Anthony for Burnley’s second goal, which was their first shot on target of the night. It was schoolboy-esque defending from the World Cup winner following a lapse in concentration.
Martinez was unlucky to have a goal ruled out in the first half.
What did you make of the decision to disallow Lisandro Martinez’s goal vs Burnley?
Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has had his say on the incident…
VAR: Stuart Attwell disallowed Martinez’s goal immediately after the ball hit the back of the net for a soft nudge on Kyle Walker during one of United’s corner kicks. VAR clearly didn’t check it properly because you would be hard-pressed to find a worse decision this season.
