The winning run for Manchester United came to a disappointing end on Tuesday night, with a 1-1 draw against West Ham.
Michael Carrick came up against his first proper low-block as Manchester United head coach, and the issues were clear to see as the Red Devils struggled to make inroads.
It looked like a defeat was pending before United salvaged a point against West Ham with another injury-time strike to keep the unbeaten streak alive.
The result wasn’t what United wanted, and it will be treated as a negative, but for both Danny Webber and Wes Brown, there was a moment that stood out for praise.

Wes Brown and Danny Webber praise Benjamin Sesko
Under Carrick, substitutes have become a really impactful part of United’s game, and Benjamin Sesko once again showcased this against the Hammers.
Sesko gave the team someone to aim for in the box, and it paid off in the 96th minute.

Sesko’s goal salvaged a point, and it was a brilliant finish, drawing praise from MUTV pundits Danny Webber and Wes Brown.
Brown started, “We got the men forward, got in the box, and what a goal by Sesko. What a touch, Webs will tell you, that’s difficult to do.”
Before then, Webber added, “The pace is on the ball coming in, but to get in front of your defender, and then just to flick it because he hasn’t got a chance to get a good strike on it.
“He’s got to use the pace of the ball and just redirect it, and he does it so nonchalantly that he takes the keeper by surprise. Great finish. Really, really intelligent. Great moment for him.”
Benjamin Sesko is averaging a goal every 48 minutes over his last six appearances
Should Sesko be starting more games for United?
Sesko becoming the striker Manchester United have been searching for
This finish was wonderful by Sesko and showcased the level of striker he is and could end up developing into.
United now has a striker who has scored five goals already in six games post-Ruben Amorim, in which he has started twice.
Sesko is averaging 48 minutes per goal over the last six games, which is a record that United would have dreamed he would achieve when he was signed.
Leipzig warned the Premier League to prepare, and after a few months to settle in with injuries, Sesko is becoming the player the club had wanted.
There were doubts he would follow Rasmus Hojlund’s path, but clearly, Sesko is going to be a top striker for the club.
