Erik ten Hag leads his Manchester United side into another pre-season friendly this afternoon with Lyon the opponents.

United have headed up to Edinburgh and will face Lyon at Murrayfield, the home of the Scottish Rugby Union.

This is United’s only game in Scotland before jetting off to the United States to take on Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

United go with Matej Kovar in goal with the youngster given a chance to shine.

It’s a back four ahead of Kovar as Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Alvaro Fernandez all start.

Hannibal Mejbri features in midfield, seemingly joining Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo in the engine room.

Antony and Jadon Sancho feature in attack, supporting Amad Diallo in what should be a fluid United attack.
