Chelsea manager Graham Potter has conducted his pre-match press conference before the match with Manchester United.
Potter has of course beaten United and Erik ten Hag already this season, winning 2-1 at Old Trafford with Brighton on the opening weekend of the season.
United have improved vastly since then, as they get used to the Dutchman’s methods and of course Potter is trying to get his approach across to the Blues squad now too.
When asked about United ahead of facing them, Potter picked out four players for praise and said he expects the improvement to continue.

Potter press conference before facing United
Potter said of United: “They’ve done well. Obviously not a great start from their perspective but they’ve battled back and they’re playing well and getting points. It’s going to be a tough game.
“They’ve changed a little bit in how they build up, I think, a bit more longer balls, I would say. A little bit more direct. At the same time, they still have the same quality.
“They’ve got the threats of Rashford, Antony, Sancho and Bruno Fernandes plays a key role for them so there’s a lot of similarities and they have adapted to the competition and to each other.
“It’s a normal process. I’d been at Brighton for three years and Erik had been at United for six weeks if that. Because he has the quality, naturally they’ll get better and better. Manchester United are Manchester United and they’re galvanising into an impressive team.”
United secured a massive result on Wednesday to reel in Tottenham in the chase for the Champions League spots and another here would be a huge boost.
United sit one point and one place below the Blues in the table, with both clubs having a game in hand on third-placed Spurs.
Ten Hag likely learned a lot about Potter from their first meeting and of course will be familiar with the former Brighton boss’ current challenge of getting his ideas across to a new group of players.
United have produced three hugely impressive home wins this season, against Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs and now it is time to repeat the trick on the road at a ground which has not been kind to Red Devils sides down the years.
