Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven picked up another start for the club. He really should have completed all 90 minutes.
Ruben Amorim loves a defensive substitution, and we saw this during the 1-1 home draw with Wolves.
With United chasing a winner, Amorim decided to make the 75th minute switch to take Ayden Heaven off and bring Leny Yoro on.
The move did not have any impact, and you can well argue that Ayden Heaven did not deserve to be taken off.
He even had a major role in Manchester United scoring the game’s opening goal.

Ayden Heaven helped create United’s opener
Ayden Heaven helped to create Manchester United’s opening goal, after winning the ball near the halfway line and striding forward in possession.
Heaven’s quick thinking saw him intercept a pass heading to Hwang Hee-Chan, and hold off a challenge to keep possession.
He moved forward with attacking intent before laying the ball off, and after a couple of lucky bounces, Joshua Zirkzee had the ball in the back of the net.
It was a brilliant moment from the 19-year-old defender, and it reflected his rising confidence. The Old Trafford crowd loved it.
This was a new side to Heaven’s game we had not seen before, and it was a really encouraging one.
This moment should have set a big United victory into motion, but this ultimately was not a happy night.
Ayden Heaven was Man Utd’s best outfield player vs Wolves
Do you agree? It was a bizarre choice to take him off…
Ayden Heaven’s impressive statistics
Ayden Heaven played 75 minutes before he was substituted, and his contribution was excellent.
Heaven completed 97 per cent of his passes, 57 of 59 attempts in total.
He also won six of six ground duels he competed for, but did have a tougher time in the air against Tolu Arokodare, where he won just one of three.
Heaven also made four tackles, two clearances and five ball recoveries, and also won two free-kicks.
Who was Manchester United’s most DISAPPOINTING player vs Wolves?
While there were many disappointing Manchester United players against Wolves, Ayden Heaven was not among them.
Aside from goalkeeper Senne Lammens, Heaven was the only player to emerge from the game with any real credit.
