Manchester United continued their immaculate pre-season form as they picked up a 2-0 win over Arsenal in America.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a long range strike which Aaron Ramsdale got a hand to.

Jadon Sancho then made it two in the 37th minute, as he raced through on goal before smashing it past Ramsdale.

Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo once again stole the show as he bossed the midfield, besting his £105million opponent.

He again looked completely cool, calm and composed in the middle, as if he had been doing it for years.

He also added a timely assist for his captain to help make it 1-0 to United, top class again Kobbie.

Bruno Fernandes

Captain fantastic is back and has immediately got his name on the scorecards.

Utilising a smart pass by Mainoo, Bruno drove inside before cracking a powerful shot at Ramsdale to make it 1-0.

Bruno also led the team with his relentless pressing and passing, also demonstrating his leadership skills early.

Jadon Sancho

Sancho has played this pre-season like his career depended on it, always pressing and has impressed with the simple stuff.

Against the Gunners though he came out the blocks quick and in the 37th minute scored a top-quality goal to put United two ahead.

It is unlikely he will be starting there when August 14th rolls round but he has definitely helped his case ahead of his third season following his £73m move.

Victor Lindelof

Victor Lindelof is among the most underrated players in his position, and once again showed his quality against Arsenal.

He was a real solid link which impacted everyone around him, firmly establishing himself as the third choice centre-back ahead of Harry Maguire.

He completely nullified any threat down his side and demonstrated fine passing as usual, top quality Iceman.

Tom Heaton

One of Erik ten Hag’s leadership group, Tom Heaton is definitely an important dressing room figure at Old Trafford.

However he showed against Arsenal he still has plenty to offer on the field, playing the full 90 he hardly put a foot wrong.

Him being involved for the full game with Dean Henderson available is quite telling in respect to the latter’s future at the club.

Brandon Williams

Another player who is often forgotten by fans and the club but Brandon Williams did really well against Arsenal.

Wiliams faced Bukayo Saka for 27 minutes, barely giving the England international a sniff of space.

He was very solid in defence and displayed some good qualities on the ball, his best performances in a long time.
