When the draw for the Champions League was made in December, nobody gave United a chance.
If you had said we would enter the second leg 2-0 down with Scott McTominay as a starter, predictions would have been even more grim.
Well forget all that. United pulled off a sensational win in Paris to reach the quarter-finals.
McTominay played a key role, and sums up the turnaround under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He was given a huge responsibility, as part of a makeshift midfield alongside Fred and Andreas Pereira.
McTominay delivered. He won more tackles than any United player, winning all five he contested.
The young Scot also made one interception, while completing 96 per cent of his passes.
This is a 22-year-old whose confidence was destroyed by Jose Mourinho earlier this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has worked wonders with McTominay and last night it showed.

He might not be first choice, but he is turning into a very valuable player for the club.
