Manchester United fans react to Tahith Chong's performance
Tahith Chong was one of the only bright spots in Manchester United’s draw at Huddersfield.
The real disappointment was that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not play him from the start.
Instead, Alexis Sanchez started and was awful. He deserved to be substituted early in the second half.
Chong was lively when he came on, even if he could not quite find the breakthrough.
The teenage winger made a number of impressive runs off the ball and nearly managed to score, having a shot from a tough angle saved.

The 19-year-old has been one of United’s best players at under-23 level and deserved his opportunity.
It was not a cameo which would have attracted the world’s attention, but it was enough to confirm what we already knew, that Chong needs a first-team run.
He should really have been given more opportunities months ago, but it’s better late than not at all.
Chong is a must start at home to Cardiff City next weekend.

Chong in a flash showing bit of energy and desire something we’ve not seen all season #MUFC

Chong has better movement than Martial has had all season. With constant playing time and improvement physically. He could be a torment for defenses. Plus his rapid. #MUFC

Really have to question some of these squad selections, don’t know why Sanchez was anywhere near the starting 11. Chong should’ve played from the start showed a lot more, along with Herrera and dalot. Either way those players should be beating Huddersfield #mufc

Having been able to watch a few of the U23 games I felt sorry for Chong coming on today to play with a bunch of players who don’t back each other up by wanting the ball like what he gets in the U23’s. #MUFC
