Manchester United playmaker Andreas Pereira is attracting interest from Italy, with both Lazio and Fiorentina keen on his signature in January, according to Calcio Mercato.
The midfielder’s Old Trafford contract expires in the summer, which means he is free to negotiate a free transfer with foreign clubs now that the January transfer window is open.
Pereira impressed in pre-season and started the first two matches of the campaign in a deep playmaker role, but was hooked off at half time of the 3-2 defeat against Brighton and Jose Mourinho largely jettisoned him thereafter.

But since the caretaker appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the playmaker has been returned to the fold, making substitute appearances against both Cardiff and Bournemouth.
He may be looking for a start in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash with Reading, but it remains to be seen whether Pereira will get enough gametime between now and the end of the season to impress.
So should United offer him a new deal or offload him while the opportunity is there? The fans simply could not agree when we put the question to them on Twitter and we’ve taken a closer look at the debate…
