Video: Cristiano Ronaldo's son performs impressive skill in Manchester United gear

Cristiano Ronaldo is a unique talent with an unrivalled determination to better himself which has made him one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

That said, his son has the ideal mentor for his football career if he decides to go in the same direction of his father. The next generation of talent could be led by Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

It’s a big ask but there are players like Frank Lampard who went on to make it in the game after their dad did exactly the same.

And if Ronaldo Jr shares his dad’s work ethic – and Lampard Jr is another who worked relentlessly on his game – he has a chance if he wants it.

My Europa League Predictions.

He looks to have talent and has already been pictured alongside his dad in Manchester United training gear since Ronaldo came back to England.

And now a video has surfaced of young Ronaldo pulling off a piece of skill and smashing the ball into the back of the net.

It did vaguely bring to mind Ronaldo during his first spell at Old Trafford, when he was all fancy footwork and a rapid blur of motion.

There is a long, long way to go for Ronaldo Jr but he could not ask for a better mentor and United will hope that they can be a big part of his career.

Wayne Rooney’s son Kai is a couple of years older and making his way through Manchester United’s academy too.

The chances of both making it at United are slim, but what a story it would be if one or both of them managed to become superstars at Old Trafford.
