Wantaway striker Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a wordless message ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Liverpool.
With the transfer window still open and the 37-year-old’s wish to join a Champions League club remaining, speculation surrounding Ronaldo’s future continues.
But it looks like yet another top European club have confirmed that they won’t be making a move for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner this summer.

According to CBS Sports, Ronaldo’s last chance of securing a move away from the Theatre of Dreams came down to whether Borussia Dortmund saw Jorge Mendes’ most high-profile client as a viable target.
However, the German giants’ chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has revealed the club are not in talks to sign the Portuguese captain.
“I love him as a player, it’s certainly a charming idea to see Cristiano Ronaldo play at Signal Iduna Park,” said the Dortmund CEO via Talksport.
“But there is no contact at all between the parties involved. So from now on, you should stop talking about it.”
Cristiano Ronaldo sends wordless message ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Liverpool

With just 11 days remaining before the summer transfer window closes it’s hard to envisage where Ronaldo’s exit is going to come from regardless of whether Erik ten Hag wants him at Manchester United or not.
Ronaldo did re-join the Red Devils from Juventus late in last summer’s transfer window, but unlike the twenty-time league champions and Manchester City at the time, no clubs are pursuing one of the games all time greats this time around.
Having started United’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Brentford last time out, Ronaldo has posted a message on Instagram ahead of Monday night’s clash against bitter rivals Liverpool at the Theatre of Dreams.
United lost against Jurgen Klopp’s side 9-0 on aggregate across the two Premier League games last season.
Ronaldo’s former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro could be at Old Trafford to watch his new team play for the first time ahead of his move from Los Blancos.
