Cristiano Ronaldo dismayed as Manchester United concede early

Manchester United’s Champions League last 16 clash with Atletico Madrid got off to the worst possible start.

Joao Felix lost Harry Maguire to score a diving header just seven minutes into the clash at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Felix’s header glanced in off the post, leaving David de Gea rooted the the spot. Conceding an early headed goal to one of the smallest men on the pitch was not in United’s gameplan.

Star man Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly frustrated at conceding the early goal against the team he loves to beat.

He gesticulated with his arms to ask what was happening and had a sullen face as he walked back to the centre circle.

United had until that point struggled to get Ronaldo into the game, with the forward managing just four touches before Atletico went 1-0 up.

As he knows by now, this Manchester United side rarely do anything the easy way, and a comeback is required if the Red Devils are to progress over two legs to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
