Manchester United under-21s coach Travis Binnion has commented on the positive progress made by youngster Willy Kambwala.
Manchester United signed Willy Kambwala from Sochaux in October 2020, when the teenager was just 16.
The France youth international made a positive start for the under-18s before suffering an injury which caused him to miss almost a year of action.
Kambwala has been restricted to only 22 appearances in three seasons at youth level, with just eight last season. This time around he is getting a good run of games already.

Willy Kambwala latest
This season Willy Kambwala has made five appearances already, playing 90 minutes in all of them.
Under-21 boss Travis Binnion is pleased to see Kambwala getting a run, even testing him out at right-back at the weekend.
Binnion told MUTV after the weekend game against Arsenal: “Willy’s had to play right-back, he’s missed a lot of football over the years, now he’s back, he played 90 minutes against Bayern, he played 90 minutes today, in a position which demands more from him physically, so it’s harder for him, but we are really pleased where he’s at.
“The group is going to get stronger, individuals are going to get better.”
Kambwala, now 19, has been pictured training with the Manchester United first team too. Erik ten Hag is keeping up to date with his progress.
Sam Murray and Rhys Bennett make returns
The reason Kambwala was shifted out to right-back at the weekend was to accommodate Rhys Bennett‘s first start since pre-season, after recovering from injury.
Bennett and left-back Sam Murray both made their returns. Binnion said: “They’ve worked really hard, two unbelievable kids, really unlucky to be injured.”
