Manchester United drew the game 1-1 with Victor Musa coming off the bench to score a second half equaliser.
It was Victor Musa’s first goal at under-21 level for Manchester United, and while just a friendly, it is a great way for him to round off a very productive season.
Musa broke into the under-18s team this past season, and ended the campaign with six goals to his name.
The 16-year-old is set up nicely to kick on in 2023/24. It is a sign of trust that United gave Musa the opportunity to step up.
Manchester United almost win it

Teden Mengi picked up minutes as a substitute, while Charlie Wellens sustained a first half injury and had to be withdrawn. Omari Forson was a particular threat throughout, but this was Musa’s night.
Starting XI: Vitek; Jurado, Hardley, Kambwala, Murray; Wellens, Collyer; Emeran, Gore, Forson; Wheatley.
