MORE UNITED STORIES
“They’ve got some top prospects as we know from last season, with Maxi Oyedele. Real top, top player who will have a great career.”
Oyedele sent the second half of last season on loan at Altrincham, which is why Parkinson was familiar with his game. The 18-year-old was very impressive, scoring four goals in 12 games from midfield.
How good is Maxi Oyedele?
As per Manchester United’s official fact file on the player, Oyedele is described as a player with physicality, good feet and an eye for goal.
Oyedele has progressed through the academy ranks at United having enjoyed casual ‘samba football’ sessions as a young kid at The Cliff – which reflect in his very technical, skilful style of play.
He has all the capabilities of being a world-beater. Let’s hope he gets there.
