Manchester United youngster Dan Gore continues to show what he is capable of, this time for the under-21s.

Teenager Dan Gore made his Manchester United first team debut in midweek in a 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace.

The 19-year-old was back with the under-21 side at the weekend, and offered a pointer to Erik ten Hag that he belongs with the first team.

Gore scored an impressive solo strike in a 5-2 win over Blackburn Rovers, his first of the season for the under-21s.

Dan Gore solo goal

Dan Gore picked the ball up inside the centre circle midway through the second half with the score poised at 2-2.

He then ran with a purpose towards goal, evading one sliding challenge by skipping past his opponent, before slotting the ball clinically into the bottom corner.

Gore let his goal speak for itself, posting a clip on Instagram, and was met with responses from his teammates.

Several made reference to the sliding Blackburn player, while Rhys Bennett wrote, ‘Messi Messi Messi’, in reference to Gore’s outstanding dribbling ability.

Gore the difference maker

When Dan Gore was making his debut for Manchester United’s first team this week, the under-21 side were heavily beaten by a senior Bolton team in the EFL Trophy, a score of 8-1.

The under-21 game this weekend was more competitive, and Gore helped tip the balance in United’s favour.

United won the match 5-2, with an own goal, plus strikes from Gore, Shola Shoretire, Omari Forson, and a penalty from Joe Hugill.
