Manchester United have brought multiple top talents from Europe to Carrington at young ages in recent years. Now they have their eyes set on the next rising star, Sverre Nypan.
Alejandro Garnacho and Hannibal Mejbri are two of the names who arrived at Old Trafford as high profile teens.
Signed for a fee, both were extremely highly regarded across Europe and chosen Carrington as the perfect place to develop.
This decision worked out really well for Garnacho, which shows would-be teenage targets that United’s academy is a good club to join.
Erik ten Hag will be hoping these examples of success will stand United in good stead for their latest quest.

Nypan has, according to The Sun, attracted the interest of United scouts, with a few being sent to watch the 16-year-old in action.
United have been monitoring the youngster for around a year, but expect to face competition from various top clubs from; Germany, Holland and Belgium.

It is worth noting that United won’t be able to sign Nypan until he is 18, due to Brexit. But could get around this rule by loaning him back to Rosenberg or agreeing a future transfer.
United will be keen not to miss out on the next top Norwegian talent after Erling Haaland slipped through their fingers.
Who is Sverre Nypan
Nypan made his professional debut at just 15-years-old which makes him their youngest ever player.
He has since made 19 professional appearances, making a name for himself with a play style likened to previous United target and Ten Hag favourite, Frenkie de Jong.
From central midfield, he has scored two goals and provided four assists in his young career to date.
A potential boost for United’s chances is Nypan is said to be a huge fan of the Red Devils, as he idolises Cristiano Ronaldo.
Definitely one to look out for in the future, he could be a brilliant coup.
