Manchester United will aim to complete the National League Cup with a perfect group stage record of four wins from four on Wednesday.
Manchester United’s U21 side have been sensational in newly formed competition in its maiden campaign, winning three of three up until Wednesday night – all against National League sides.
United firstly beat Forest Green 3-2, then defeated Altrincham 4-0 and most recently beat Rochdale 1-0.
This record left United in a brilliant position and had a real chance of progressing to the quarter-finals – one they took gladfully with a dominant win away against National League side Oldham.

United scored five second-half goals to score a deserved and utterly dominant 5-0 win over Oldham to round out the group stage with a 100 per cent record.
Goals came from Jack Moorhouse, Chido Obi, Malachi Sharpe, Sam Mather and finally Victor Musa.
