Alfie Walker confirms his departure from Manchester United
Walker is set to join rivals Leeds United in the summer once his youth contract expires at Carrington. This will mean Walker follows Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher at Leeds, after the Serbian talent moved in January.

Taking to his Instagram, Walker posted the following message alongside several images of his United career.
“After 9 years at the club, this season will be my last. I would like to thank all the staff and players who have helped me get to where I am today. I have made some great memories and friends, but I am excited for my next chapter and a new challenge”.
This comes after Kai Rooney has reportedly been offered a scholarship, along with Jacey Carrick. Now the pair has sent messages to Walker.

Manchester United coaches and players react to Walker’s exit
Walker is unlikely to be the only talent exiting the club, with U18 star James Bailey on trial with Stockport County at the moment.

Leading the responses was Kai Rooney, as he commented: “Will be missed brother”, with a heart.
Former academy coach Neil Harris wrote: “One chapter ending never decides the whole story. Keep working hard, mate, keep believing, you’ve been an absolute credit to yourself and your family!”
U18 midfielder Jay McEvoy said: “Good luck, lad”. In addition, Jaice Dore said: “All the best, Alfie, you will do great anywhere you go!”
Bassirou Nkoto added a sad face emoji. Meanwhile, Jacey Carrick put two heart emojis.
Gazik Ibragimov also commented, writing: “All the best brother”.
