Manchester United learned the club’s FA Youth Cup Final opponents last night after the tournament’s second semi-final was finally played.
Nottingham Forest beat Chelsea 3-1 to cause an upset and earn a final date against Manchester United.

The result meant Manchester United’s under-18s avoid facing Chelsea, who beat them 3-2 in the Premier League Cup quarter-finals earlier in the year.
But Forest will be no pushovers and if United underestimate them then they risk coming unstuck.
Home advantage
The FA Youth Cup Final will be held at Old Trafford, giving Manchester United a crucial advantage.
The date is not yet set, although the club website states tickets will go on sale later today (April 5), meaning an announcement on date will arrive shortly.
It is possible it could be held around the weekend of Saturday April 30 as United do not have a Premier League game.
Forest’s result caught the attention of Manchester United youngster James Garner, who is currently on loan at Forest.

He congratulated Forest’s young players on on social media after they beat Chelsea 3-1 at the City Ground.
Forest’s young players are coached by former Manchester United reserve team coach Warren Joyce.
United are looking to win the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 2011, and this is the first time the club’s young players have reached the final since.
