Manchester United under-21s have beaten Chester in a friendly match with an impressive performance.

A sold out crowd of more than 2,600 fans saw a Manchester United XI beat non-league Chester FC on Monday night (7/8).

The friendly match provided an opportunity for the club’s talented youngsters to get more game time, and featured some players who featured for the first team in Dublin against Athletic Bilbao just over 24 hours earlier.

Hannibal Mejbri was among the starters. He had helped change the game against Bilbao with Aitor Paredes given a red card for hauling him down on the edge of the box.
