Manchester United have some of the best talents in the nation right now, but one in particular has set lofty ambitions.

Amir Ibragimov is one of the best prospects currently in the ranks at Carrington and now has begun his first season as a regular U18 player.

The Russian-born, Manchester-raised wonderkid struggled with injuries last season so this campaign is pivotal for Amir Ibragimov.

It has started well for the 16-year-old as he looks to make an impact for Adam Lawrence’s side – after signing his scholarship with United this summer.

Despite only being 16, Ibragimov already has his eyes firmly set on becoming a footballing superstar at Manchester United and a debut this season is on his agenda.

According to the reliable United Academy X account, SCOOP, Ibragimov is aiming to impress Ten Hag.

It is explained that during a conversation at the Otten Cup earlier this month, Ibragimov shared that he aims to debut in the senior team this season.

This may seem far-fetched but Ibragimov is an insane talent who has what it takes to make the leap – perhaps a Europa League appearance or a cameo at the end of the season is when we will see him in action for the senior team.

After playing for the U18s in the Premier League Cup, Ibragimov even sent a message on Instagram.

It is good to see Ibragimov back playing football and seemingly fit and firing. Hopefully, he can kick on this season and become a player we all know he is capable of being with fans incredibly excited by Ibragimov.

Erik ten Hag is already aware of Manchester United wonderkid

Erik ten Hag will already be well aware of the talent Ibragimov possesses.

We know this as Ibragimov has been in Manchester United training already on a few occasions, including just before the community shield.

Ibragimov is a player that Ten Hag is keeping an eye on, and the club will be very excited to see how he progresses this season.

We may see Ibragimov at least in the squad this season, but in order to force himself into Ten Hag’s immediate plans to become the latest academy graduate for United, he will need to dominate youth football first.

Next up, Ibragimov will likely feature for United against Liverpool U18s on Saturday.
