Garnacho is full of confidence right now, with 15 goals in all competitions this season, and five in the Youth Cup.

The youngster has expressed his excitement for the final which will be played in April against either Chelsea or Nottingham Forest – and vowed to win it.

United’s stars were jubilant after the win at Old Trafford, which had more than 6,000 fans in attendance.

The final will also be played at home too, giving United a crucial advantage, whoever the opponents are.

Charlie McNeill, scorer of two on the night, and right-back Marc Jurado were among the players to also express their happiness on social media after the win.

United are into the final for the first time since 2011, a side which contained the likes of Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison.

There are several top talents in United’s side who hope to go onto enjoy first team success, with Garnacho among the most likely to be starring at Old Trafford for the senior team in the future.

The confidence in his game is notable when you watch him, and he is clearly very optimistic of final success, and that kind of attitude can only help the young side take the next step towards silverware.
