Manchester United have been linked with a new name, Éric-Junior Dina Ebimbe.
French outlet RMC Sport report United have registered interest in the 19-year-old with a view to a summer transfer.
Dina Ebimbe is under contract to Paris Saint-Germain, and signed a deal last summer which runs through to 2023.
What else can we tell you about him?
Dina Ebimbe is out on loan at French Ligue 2 side Le Havre, who sit in sixth place in the division.
He has been a regular, playing in 18 of a possible 20 league games for his loan side this season, so the move has been good for him.
The teenager is a right winger and he has scored two goals and provided one assist so far this season.
He has not got near to making his debut for PSG yet, and RMC Sport report the French champions would not block him leaving, on the condition they get a fair price.
Dina Ebimbe was this season called up into the French under-20 squad for the first time.
What’s the verdict?
This is a difficult transfer to get excited about. Perhaps the United scouting department have spotted something special about the kid we are not aware of.
United do need wingers, and it is not a bad idea to add a few developmental options, especially if Tahith Chong leaves when his contract expires.
But to be negative for a moment, if Dina Ebimbe was a truly elite talent, he would be making his way into PSG’s first team, and they would put up a fight to keep him.
This is only one for the summer, so is just a potential move to be aware of, but it does not exactly sound like United have found the solution to our problems with this possible move.
