United closing in on Lisandro Martinez

Martinez could become Manchester United’s second summer signing, following Tyrell Malacia.

A deal is still on for Christian Eriksen, with ESPN reporting the free agent could still fly out to join the club’s pre-season tour once a deal is signed off.

The one deal hanging in the balance is the hopes of signing Frenkie de Jong.

The Dutchman has returned to training with Barcelona and Fabrizio Romano says the deal is ‘stalling’, and claims the player does not intend to leave.

Separately and related to the Lisandro Martinez transfer, The Telegraph report Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly are all available for transfer.
